Photography is far more expensive than it may seem as my shoot with you isn't just me clicking the shutter button for an hour or two. There is expensive equipment, preparation and planning, equipment maintenance and replacement, vehicle running costs then the hours of sorting and editing after the shoot. It all adds up why is why a good photographer isn't cheap. 

Well that isn't entirely true, there actually are some good cheap photographers out there. Unfortunately the business side will usually crush them pretty quickly because of the hidden costs. That is actually a real shame because we lose so much very promising talent that way. So if you find a cheap one wether it is for portraits , family or boudoir photography and you are impressed, give them double what they asked, it might just help them understand the real worth of their talent.
